Cast in all
Luke 21:1-4[1]And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury,[2]and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites.[3]So He said, “Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all;[4]for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had.”
One of the ways man receives from God is by giving. Jesus
said "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure,
pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put
into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it
will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38
Giving is a way to unlock showers of blessings, it is a way
through which God open doors before men but it is quite
unfortunate that lots of Christians give today without
receiving because they lack the proper orientation about
giving.
In today's text the word of God pictures two categories of
giver
- The Rich Givers
- The Poor Widow Giver
These two categories or set of people both gave gifts unto
the Lord but unfortunately the Rich Givers gifts wasn't
acceptable because they gave unto God out of their abundance,
they gave God a jot out of what they have received, they gave unto God a limited gift (i.e they are saying this is
too much for God) while the Poor Widow gave all, she casted
in all that she had. She acknowledged that God is her
rewarder and provider. Although what she gave compared to the
Rich Givers gifts was so little but before God it was the
best because she casted in all.

N.B
The first thing God is requiring from you is not your money,
yes it's not your status, not your job but your LIFE.
Have you casted in all your LIFE for HIM? Do so today
tomorrow may be too late.
Shalom......
