He will teach you all things
Text: John 16:12-13
[12]“I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.
[13]However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
Before Jesus ascended to heaven he said "I have yet many things to say unto you" vs 12. Jesus Christ teaches us on how to live our life and also practically laid an example of how we can please God; Jesus saw the need for more teachings but there was no more time to teach, so he handed the work over to the spirit of truth which is also called the COMFORTER . The spirit of truth (Holy Spirit) will now continue the work of Jesus Christ, he will continually teach us ALL THINGS till the very end and also show us things to come.
As a Christian we need to key into the promise Jesus made which is the Holy Spirit, we need the Holy Spirit to teach us all things.
How do I receive the Holy spirit
- Give your life to Jesus Christ.
- Believe in him.
- Put your trust in him.
- Pray earnestly the manifestation of the Holy Spirit
