Be Instant

"Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching" NKJV                 II Timothy 4:2

One of the works we have been commissioned to do is to preach the word. Jesus said "Go ye therefore to all nation and make disciples.............." Matthew 28:19-20 

Preaching the word takes grace and committment , we should be instant(ready) in season (in good times) and out of season (in times that seems not good)

Three things the word of God can do

1. Reprove/Convince: This means to express disapproval, to make someone believe or feel sure about something which is the undiluted word of God.

2. Rebuke/Warn: This means to make someone aware of the impending danger, to caution someone against unwise or unacceptable behaviour in the body of Christ.

3. Exhort/Encourage: This means to urge, to advise earnestly, to support, motivate, give hope to someone to keep moving forward, " looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith......." Hebrews 12:2

Note

1. Preach the good news to someone today

2. Impact someone's life positively today

3. The best thing you can give to your friend, relative, colleague, wife, husband, enemy, boss etc. Is Jesus Christ
