Stand Firm

"Now the spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons" 1Timothy 4:1

The word 'Firm' in this context connotes position. I.e to be steadfast or steady. To be fixed and unchanging about the truth(the undiluted word of God), about the teachings of Jesus Christ- the author and finisher of our faith.

This is a charge to all who knows the truth (John 8:32, John 14:6) who is personified to be Jesus Christ. The Bible says "For he made him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in him" 2Corinthians 5:21 

We are already in the latter days (2 Timothy 3:1-5), lots of false doctrines and teachings have aroused, doctrines of demons are been taught in synagogues and all sorts of lying and deceiving spirits are roaming about.

In conclusion brethren, Stand firm, hold on to your Faith. The word of God says "..................... But he who endures to the end shall be saved" NKJV Mark 13:13
